KC Wilkins, DMD
While many of Dr. Wilkins’ patients comment on how much they enjoy his relaxed demeanor and willingness to listen, they also acknowledge his strict attention to detail and high standard of care. His desire to do his best for each of his patients, every day, is reflected in his work.
Dr. Wilkins graduated summa cum laude from Southern Utah University (2004) and cum laude from Temple University School of Dentistry (2008). As a student, he received many awards and honors (see below). Since his graduation, he had spent many hours engaging in continuing education and earning certificates on a wide range of topics and procedures. He maintains memberships in the American Dental Association, the Utah Dental Association, and the Weber County Dental Association.
Dr. Wilkins takes great pride in providing his patients with the information they need to make decisions about the health of their teeth and aesthetics of their smile. His patients who speak Spanish and Portuguese appreciate his ability to communicate in these languages with fluency.
The Wilkins family moved to the Ogden area 11 years ago, at which time Dr. Wilkins became co-owner of Cobble Creek Dental.
“I love being my own boss,” he says. “I get to focus on doing what is best for the patient, rather than on what is best for the shareholders of a corporation.”
When he’s not thinking about teeth, Dr. Wilkins can be found skiing, mountain biking, hiking, and spending time with his family. He and his wife, Lynnette, have four children: Zachary, Miles, Violet, and Daniel.
Mark Harris, DDS
Dr. Mark Harris decided to become a dentist not only because he enjoys helping people in the profession of health care, but because he enjoys the artistry involved in cosmetic dentistry. He graduated from Brigham Young University in 1998 and received his DDS degree cum laude from Creighton University in Omaha, NE (2002), where he also received numerous awards.
Following dental school, Dr. Harris owned a successful dental practice in Soda Springs, ID, for five years. Although he and his wife and five children enjoyed their time in Idaho, they felt drawn to the Ogden area. In 2008, they moved here.
“I have gotten to know some truly fantastic people here,” Dr. Harris says. “I hope to be able to continue in a tradition of gentle and personal patient care, because that’s what these people deserve.”
Over the past 19 years of private practice, Dr. Harris has spent significant time in continuing his dental education, seeking out advanced studies across the country to stay abreast of the most current treatments available. He provides comprehensive dental care for the entire family. His patients’ comfort is his primary concern, and he treats dental work as an art form.
The Harris family, which includes Mark’s wife, Larisa, and their children, Samuel, Melissa, Marah, Luke, and Olivia, enjoy spending time together. When not working on your teeth, Dr. Harris can be found boating, playing in his band, or watching Utah Jazz basketball games.
